A NEW ENDEAVOUR

“In helping others, we help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle that comes back to us”  Flora Edwards.

The Canorient Committee wishes to form a “Support Circle” with your help.  This circle will consist of members who will help other members in whatever capacity they deem possible.  We have come up with the following ideas.  However, feel free to express yours as well.

1. To run errands for those in need.
2. Transportation to events or appointments when no help is available.
3. Phone calls to those in need of company.
4. To prepare a meal or two when the recipient is too sick to fend for him or herself. 
5. To provide assistance to families in the event of the passing away of a loved one (a Canorient member).  This assistance can be in the form of letting the membership know of the demise of the person, helping the family to make funeral arrangements, organizing a mass and helping to arrange a small reception, all this at the request of the family.
